Short Sales

In some cases a home will be offered for sale for less than is owed on the mortgage.    This situation is known as a "short sale" and it is complicated and depends on the lender's agreement to sell at the reduced price.  

We no longer work with "short sale" sellers because our clients have had very negative experiences with them.  A short sale may be delayed for an indeterminate length of time while the bank and seller fight over the sale.   During the time that the seller and the bank are in negotiations, we can most likely find better homes for sale.
